| We are: | A nonprofit guest house located in the Castro neighborhood, near Market Street, staffed by a Program Director and volunteers. |
| We serve: | Family members and other loved ones from outside the Bay Area who are visiting persons in San Francisco with AIDS or another life-threatening conditions. |
| Cost: | Sliding scale: A donation of $30 per room per night is suggested. |
| Accessibility: | The house is not handicap-accessible. We are on a steep hill. There are 10 steps to the first floor, 17 more to the upper floor. There are also steps down to the rear garden. |
| Facilities: | Six guest rooms, each with two twin beds and a door that locks. Shared bathrooms.

Transportation: |
We are 1/2 block (uphill) from Muni Metro (F, K, L, M streetcars) at Market Street. The 24, 33, and 34 buses are convenient. Parking is difficult: We are in a parking permit area. |
Length of stay: |
From one night to a week or more, depending on a patient's situation. |
Reservations: |
Reservations are made by phone only between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific time. Please DO NOT send potential guests to the house without calling first. New guests with a reservation MUST arrive prior to 8 p.m. on the day of arrival. Thereafter, they may come and go as they need to. |
| Limitations: | Guests must be able to function appropriately in a group-living situation in terms of sharing space and facilities, personal habits, appropriate behavior, acceptable language, etc. |
